PROJECT OVERVIEW

This platform is a community engagement solution for Habitat for Humanity volunteers. As the lead designer on this project, I lead all creative meeting with the Habitat creative and development team. I gathered user requirements and user stories and iterated on a design that pulled the Habitat brand through the site and serve as a template for all future Habitat communities that will be rolled out over the next two years. A few of the main objectives are to enhance the volunteer experience both online and off-line and reduce IT involvement in supporting custom solutions by reducing the amount of manual effort needed for maintenance.  Some major pain point for the client included the over utilization of the IT team, the inability to manage programs successes and growth opportunities consistently, and too much time spent on communication management. The goal of the site is to bring all the information and members to one place. The success of the programs can be tracked and the communication can happen more naturally without staff involvement.

Trade a Grape is an app that allows users to trade wine and connect with other wine lovers. I was tasked with laying out a visually appealing site that lets users interact on smaller screen sizes and learn more about the services the app provides. The sites main intent is to bring traffic to the app and convert the traffic into download and active users. The goal is for the website to answer questions about the product and the service so that more informed visitors will be converted into app users.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

ScaleFactor utilizes a variety of digital accounting, finance, and inventory systems to increase efficiency and provide consistently accurate back office functionality.  Scale Factor is a SAAS product that gives small businesses a platform and provides guidance to their financial issues. The product needed to transmit trust and consistency yet appeal to a modern audience. The UI pattern is very concise, allowing the user to walk through each flow seamlessly, saving them precious time during routine tasks. The main objective of this project is to give clients a digital space to store files, communicate with financial professionals and track business finances. The goal was to alleviate and pain point that pertains to predominately small businesses who cant afford to have a full-time accountant. This product addresses a need for small businesses to become more indented with their accounting. It fills a gap in the market and provides a service to help small businesses and down market clients succeed while becoming more financially literate.
